The Zambia Flying Doctor Service (ZFDS) successfully conducted a one-day medical outreach at the Minsundu Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Camp Site in Ndola yesterday , providing free specialist and preventive healthcare services to hundreds of community members.
During the outreach, patients accessed a wide range of essential medical services, including dental care, Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) consultations, eye examinations, the dispensing of prescription reading glasses, pharmacy services, as well as blood pressure and blood sugar screening. The outreach also provided an opportunity for early detection of health conditions and appropriate medical advice for patients requiring further care.
This initiative underscores ZFDS’ unwavering commitment to taking quality healthcare closer to the people by improving access to essential health services, promoting preventive healthcare, facilitating early diagnosis, and enhancing community health awareness.
ZFDS remains dedicated to supporting the Government’s efforts to strengthen equitable access to quality healthcare services for all Zambians, particularly through community-based medical outreach programmes.
