The Zambia Flying Doctor Service proudly participated in the World Oral Health Day celebrations held in Mufulira under the theme “A Happy Mouth, A Happy Life.”

The event commenced with a vibrant match past from Eco Fueling Station to Kamuchanga Market, bringing together healthcare teams from various towns in a show of unity and commitment to promoting oral health.

The occasion was graced by distinguished leaders including the Mayor of Mufulira, Dr. Tanaeli Kamanga; Copperbelt Deputy Permanent Secretary, Mr. Daniel Kamenga; Mufulira District Commissioner, Mr. Everisto Chilumba; and Copperbelt Provincial Health Director, Dr. Charles Mwinuna.

The team led by ZFDS Dental surgeon ,Dr.Ivy Chisala showcased a wide range of oral health services while actively raising awareness on the importance of proper dental hygiene and routine dental check-ups. Community members were engaged through interactive health education sessions, practical demonstrations, and free consultations, all aimed at promoting healthier smiles and improved overall well-being.

The initiative reflects ZFDS’s continued commitment to delivering quality healthcare services and strengthening community health awareness across the country.
