The Zambia Flying Doctor Service (ZFDS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Copperbelt University Medical Trust aimed at enhancing emergency healthcare services for members of the Copperbelt University community.
The partnership will facilitate emergency medical evacuations and the provision of healthcare services to students and staff in the event of accidents, sudden illness, or other medical emergencies requiring urgent specialist care.
Through this collaboration, ZFDS will provide timely aeromedical evacuation and emergency medical support, helping to ensure that members of the university community have rapid access to advanced healthcare whenever the need arises.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to improving emergency preparedness, strengthening healthcare delivery, and safeguarding the health and well-being of the Copperbelt University community.
This partnership marks another important milestone in ZFDS' mission of expanding strategic collaborations that improve access to quality healthcare services and ensure that no one is left behind during medical emergencies.
