In continued partnership with the Workers Compensation Fund Control Board, the Zambia Flying Doctor Service today, 13th May 2026, successfully repatriated two beneficiaries from the International Hospital of Lusaka back to Mufulira on the Copperbelt following specialized medical care.
The mission was conducted by our dedicated flight crew, Director Aviation Services Col. Lasford Manchisi and Co-Pilot Elvis Kite, with professional medical support from paramedics Prince Mwewa and Paul Siame, ensuring a safe and seamless transfer.
This successful mission highlights the growing impact of the collaboration aimed at improving access to specialized healthcare services for Zambia’s workforce and ensuring beneficiaries receive quality care when it matters most.
At ZFDS, our commitment remains unwavering in delivering quality aeromedical services that strengthen healthcare systems and improve access to medical care not only for the public, but also for the nation’s hardworking workforce.
Through strategic partnerships, we continue transforming lives and advancing healthcare delivery across Zambia.
